Supporting Mental Health Awareness Week
Here at ND Communications, part of Ogilvie Group, we are proud supporters of wellbeing in the workplace. We run numerous wellbeing activities across our team sites in Stirling and Newcastle including Mental Health awareness training sessions, lunchtime walks, yoga and pilates sessions.
May 2019’s Mental Health Awareness week ran 13th-19th May, which was run alongside the Mental Health Foundation, Heads Together and This is Me. Numerous activities were arranged across the business, which included the “Big Walk” on Wednesday 15th May and a “Wellbeing Breakfast” on Friday 17th May.
These events coincided with new initiatives recently produced to help support and improve the mental health of our employees across Ogilvie Group. These initiatives include the appointment of mental health first-aiders and an Employee Assistance Programme, which is an online and telephone service giving employees and their families support and advice in areas including legal, medical financial and family care.
